UAV

UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) or drones as they are more commonly known are efficient at covering intertidal areas utilising photogrammetry. We can safely operate and collect data to produce accurate point clouds relative to the correct horizontal and vertical datums, often UAV contractors are experienced in the flying aspect only. We have developed work flows to give us confidence in using these techniques without the need for ground control points allowing use 'offshore' where safe access cannot be gained. We are insured and qualified to GVC and A2CofC standards,  due to the recent rule change and our investment in a new vehicle we can operate our RTK capable Mavic 3 EU aircraft in the A1 open category meaning less restrictions in use.
